Why Australian Idol sucks

A&R is what drives the music industry and with subsequent Idols failing miserably it shows that AI is seriously lacking good a&r skills. No good blaming the public for this. They can only vote for what is presented to them. This year an even bigger 'own goal' was scored which will further guarantee no international Idol success. By not letting Jordan 'I love us' through on the basis of his voice was laughable. Arguably the most exciting showman on the show, it shows why our music industry here is churning out boring artists. Too many guitar bearing 'serious' musicians in an obvious attempt to win over critics. AI turned away 2 genuine stars tonight. Jordan 'I love Us' and the cheeky kid who has the panache and style of the Artic Monkeys. Can some other label pick up these guys and show the Idol producers what to do with 'real stars' as it is obvious to me that the clowns who are judging have no idea of what they are doing. I'm really flabbergasted.
