Manage your own One Million Dollar band

It had to happen. Now music fans can take the reality music competition to a whole new level and to be honest i think this is a tremendous idea in its infancy and the spin offs that may result.

Vipbandmanager offers 50,000 people the chance to manage their own band. It aims to do this by raising shares in the band and a million bucks to market, record and get the band to number one. Will they achieve it ? Of course they will. Imagine if you had 50,000 fans who have a vested interest in a band, rushing out to buy the band's music. Of course it will dominate the singles chart in a method never seen before and frankly one with serious implications for the charts. The project will have an actual acting manager in Sam Bush who is the son of music industry legend Mel Bush, the mastermind behind the success of Vanessa Mae.

I think this will invigorate an interest in music like never before as you choose the material you choose the band and you help shape the band. In fact you are the band in all but the actual performance. Australian Idol starts this weekend and as always the messageboards just like Big Brother will be brimming with activity. VIP Band Manager brings a new level of excitement to the table as you will be creating a new band from hundreds or even thousands of auditionees who dare i say will audition to be a part of a Million Pound project. This is a crazy but fantastic idea and one which will make labels even more nervous as the general public get more involved with the decision process of pop music. It is all Simon Cowell's fault but brilliant !
