He is probably the hottest producer Stateside, but he is also a damn fine singer too. Its great to hear music produced in a timeless manner, above fashion, trends and focus group marketing. Pharrell does this with Angel although lyrically its a bit cliche hip hop/r&b. Check out the Axwell remix its absolutely brilliant, very musical with an electronic/disco feel to it. If you manage to get hold of the vinyl there are some accapellas on there for all you budding remix producers out there.

There is nothing better than smooth, sexy house music done properly which i have to say Darryl James remix of Mink's "Glory of life" hits all the right spots. Uplifting lyrics, jazzy chords and sexy vocals. Mmmtastic ! As far as i know its only on vinyl but click on this link to have a sneak preview. I'm not normally a Lindsay Lohan fan but the moment i heard 'confessions' i was instantly moved by the honesty in the song and the performance. Ok she overdoes it a bit but in the context of the subject matter i think no one can fault her efforts. Musically it's a nice piano based rock ballad that works very well and is a breath of fresh air for Lindsay. Let's hope she can make more tracks like this.
8/10 for me.
